Until around 2008, KBA Rapida printing presses were equipped with the Densitronic S measuring device. KBA no longer works with these devices, so repairing the heads is often difficult for printing houses. Most of the Densitronic S devices are still in operation, but over time they wear out and need to be repaired.
Over time, the stability of the head is compromised, leading to errors on the monitor.

We offer a complete technical service and upgrade the calibrated light source in the form of a bulb, which needed periodic replacement, to a modern LED light source.

The cost of the service includes a complete set of maintenance and repair of the head.

The standard package includes not only the installation of the Retrofit Kit, but also the inspection of the main parts for wear and tear and their replacement. A specialist checks and adjusts the optics, 34-pin ribbon cable, diode covers, and vacuum valve.

After the work is completed, you will no longer need to replace the calibrated lamp, and the device comes with a 6-month warranty.
