In addition to technical inspection of the main components of the printing machine responsible for print quality, various printing tests are used. The simplest tests are performed during a standard inspection, by definition.
Complex jobs, such as the Karo test, are performed to check the condition of the perfecting unit on long, multi-colour printing machines.

Printing Test 1
Kiss-Print Test
The purpose is to check the condition of the surfaces of the plate, blanket and impression cylinders, the condition of the cylinder bearings and the compliance with the set pressure values of the lower printing pair (blanket - impression cylinders).

The task of the test is to determine the condition of the sheet transfer system as a whole and between individual units. With the help of decoding of this test the general condition of the sheet transfer system at all - grippers, perfecting device.

General Condition Test
This test is suitable for the vast majority of users who are far away from the inspection site. It is also suitable where the purchaser print shop does not perform jobs of higher complexity, such as those using spectrophotometry, where high sheet accuracy is not required (lenticulars, IML printing, high speed perfecting work, etc.).
