Fountain Solution Additive for IPA-free printing

VitaFount AlcoFree is a fountain solution additive for sheet-fed and for continuous form printing, particularly for alcohol-free printing.

• Standard dosage 3-4%
• For IPA-free printing or IPA reduction 0 – 5%
• pH-value 4,5 – 5,0 (depends on hardness of water)
• suitable for water hardness until 20° dH
• fast plate runoff, stable ink-water balance
• reduced build-up on blankets and on impression cylinders
• reduced ink built-up on dampening rollers
• no ink feedback in the dampening solution
• no build-up of calcium on ink rollers
• very quick drying of the ink on matt coated paper and non-absorbent substrates
• extended changing-intervals as fountain solution remains clean for a long time (several weeks) stable pH-value and conductivity
• high ink density and gloss on the printed product
• very high scrub resistance of the ink
• suitable for CTP plates
• suitable for conventional and for UV-inks, for special inks and for metal pigment inks VOC approx. 16%
• increased conductivity per % input: 175 μS/cm
• density 1,05 kg/l
